EKOM/CES Εταιρεία Κυπριακών Οικονομικών Μελετών/Cyprus Economic Society

The aim of the Cyprus Economic Society (CES), which was founded in 1962, is to promote the study of economics in Cyprus. This is achieved through publications, lectures, seminars and conferences. Members are entitled to the following benefits:


        • a free subscription to EKONOMIA, the journal of the Cyprus Economic Society

        • a free subscription to the Newsletter of the Economics Research Centre of the University of Cyprus

        • a free subscription to regular Economics Commentaries and other publications of the Economics Research Centre of the University         of Cyprus

        • inclusion of the member’s contact information in the Society’s “List of Members” which is available on the Society’s web page

        • invitations to seminars and talks organized by the Department of Economics of the University of Cyprus

        • an invitation to the Annual Lecture organized by the Society, which hosts distinguished economists speaking on subjects of wide         interest (past lecturers include Robert Solow, David Laidler, Charles Goodhart, Frank Hahn, Klaus F. Zimmermann and David Hendry)

        • a job market fair organized occasionally in conjunction with other events

        • discounts on formal dinners or other events organised by the society Cost of Membership.

Our institutional subscription rate is €70 for addresses within Cyprus, €80 for addresses outside Cyprus, including postage and handling.
